Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Pictolead: the web console, the iOS app, the App Clip, the browser camera and this website. They apply to organizers, the companies and teams who create events, and to guests, who join those events. If an organization signs an order or quote with us, that document prevails over these Terms where they differ. Our Privacy Policy and Content & Moderation Policy form part of these Terms.

Who may use Pictolead

Organizers use Pictolead on behalf of an organization and confirm they're authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Guests must be old enough to consent in their country, and at least 13. Minors may only join with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Accounts

Organizers sign in with an email and password, Sign in with Apple, a passkey or an email code, and are responsible for the team members they invite and for what happens in their account.

Guests join an event with a display name and an anonymous account through the App Clip or the browser; the full iOS app uses a signed-in account. Keep your access secure, and tell us at hello@pictolead.com if you believe your account was used without permission.

For organizers

You're responsible for your events: for telling guests how you'll use their photos and data, for having a lawful basis to do so, and for respecting each guest's choices. In particular, send marketing only to guests who ticked the marketing box.

Leads and photos you export to your own tools are under your control and your privacy policy.

You confirm you have the rights to the logos, covers and other material you upload.

Each event runs within the limits of your plan or purchase (guests, events and dates).

For guests

To join an organizer's event you accept that the organizer may reuse the photos you take there, as shown on the join screen. If the organizer turns on lead capture, you may be asked for your email to join or to enter challenges.

The camera works only while you use it. Don't photograph people who have asked you not to, and capture only what you have the right to share. You can always download the photos you took.

Photos & licenses

You keep the authorship and copyright of the photos you take.

By joining an event, you grant its organizer a license to reuse the photos you take there in its own channels, as you accepted on the join screen.

You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store, process and display your photos to run the service according to each event's settings, including applying the organizer's brand mark and showing them on the live wall.

We claim no ownership of your photos, and we don't use them for advertising or to train AI.

Acceptable use

Don't upload content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, infringing or non-consensual; don't photograph people who've declined; and don't reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or otherwise abuse the service or other users.

We and organizers may remove content and participants that break these rules. See our Content & Moderation Policy.

Plans, payments & billing

Organizations buy single events or 12-month plans. The price, scope and payment method are set out in your quote or order. Card payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, and plans can also be paid by bank transfer. We never receive your card details.

Purchases are tied to the event or plan they cover. Refunds follow your order terms, except where the law gives you additional rights.

App Store terms (iOS)

If you use the iOS app or the App Clip, you also agree to Apple's standard licensed-application terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

Copyright

If you believe content on Pictolead infringes your copyright, email hello@pictolead.com with the work concerned, where the content appears, your contact details and a good-faith statement. We remove infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Pictolead is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the relevant event or plan in the prior six months (or a nominal amount if nothing was paid). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the maximum extent allowed.

Indemnity

You agree to cover claims and costs arising from the content you upload or capture, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms and, for organizers, how you use guests' photos and data.

Termination

You can stop using Pictolead at any time. Organizers can delete their account from the console; deleted accounts and organizations are removed after a 30-day grace period. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms or for legal reasons. Provisions that should survive (including licenses already granted, disclaimers and liability limits) continue after termination.

Changes, governing law & contact

We may update the service and these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date; continued use after a change means you accept it.

We'll first try to resolve any dispute informally: contact hello@pictolead.com. These Terms are governed by the applicable law where Pictolead operates, and the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence still apply.
